Sonos Metallicos - Arvostelu: Machine Head - Burn My Eyes (564 words)
Machine Headin esiintyminen on tullut kotimaassamme usein tutuksi, mutta Burn My Eyes eroaa miehitykseltään hieman myöhemmiltä albumeilta, mutta tämä ei poista taidokasta soittoa kaikilla osa-alueilla ja Robert Flynnin asenteellinen vokalisointi on taatusti ansainnut lukuisat vuosien varrella keräämänsä ylistävät kehut.
Tämä johtuu yksinkertaisesti siitä pulmasta, mistä monet Burn My Eyesin tyyliä vähänkin lähentelevät albumit kärsivät, eli tyylin yhtenäisyyden aiheuttamasta kappalemateriaalin tasaisuudesta, josta erottuvat pian omat suosikit ja samalla itse olen pudottanut suosikkieni joukosta muutaman albumin raidan.
Burn My Eyes on erikoinen tapaus, sillä se on edelleen Machine Headin paras albumi ja tämän jälkeen toiseksi paras albumi ilmestyi vasta 2003, joten melkoisen korkealle Machine Head rimansa asetti jo aikaisessa vaiheessa uraansa.
