Encyclopedia > Burnt Oak tube station

Burnt Oak is a station on the Northern Line of the London Underground in Zone 4. It is the penultimate station on the Edgware branch, the station to the south being Colindale.


It opened 27 October 1927 as Burnt Oak (Watling), the latter being dropped about 1950.


It is on the Roman Road known as Watling Street.
