Synopsis

Chicago residents Neil (played by Gerard James Butler) and Abby Warner (played by Bello) have a perfect marriage and a worry-free life. However, when their daughter Sophie gets kidnapped, their lives are thrown into chaos as they are forced to comply with the kidnapper's demands. The kidnapper is Ryan (played by Brosnan), who is a dangerously-efficient sociopath who feels like he has nothing to lose.

For the next twenty-four hours, Neil and Abby have no choice but to comply with Ryan's demands, and it soon becomes apparent that money is not the object -- in exchange for Sophie, Ryan wants them to kill an innocent man.
