BuzauCounty is situated in the S-E of Romania, between 44 44’- 45 49’northern latitude and 26 04’-27 26’ eastern longitude.
Its neighbours are the counties of Brasov and Covasna in the N-W, Vrancea in the N-E, Braila in the E, Ialomita in the S and Prahova in the W.
