By the RiverPiedra I SatDown and Wept tells of Pilar, a frustrated scholar looking for some greater meaning in the endless cycle of her days.
Although a great read for romantics everywhere and an interesting prerspective change for religious, I am saddened to admit that 'By the RiverPiedra I SatDown and Wept' is not as strong a novel in characterization, plot, and conclusion as 'The Alchemist'- hence the three stars.
