The Maggotdrowner's Forum - Byley Bridge (440 words)
May I congratulate whoever has ploughed into byley bridge, it has probably been there for 200 years only to be destroyed by reckless driving.
Posted - 11 October 2005 : 12:46:08 AM I used to live close to byley and fish it regularly, the bridge peg itself was brilliant for quality chub to the stick and if you ran through a little further against the bridge itself you would get the odd small (2lb) barbel.
Posted - 11 October 2005 : 09:58:19 AM Byley is ok - the pollution was downstream of the River Croco confluence on the Winsford Anglers stretch at Croxton Lane.

The shoot was well attended and it was nice to see so many new faces including a couple of new Byley members along with a few form Tawd Vale including Carl Knapper, Mike Harris and Tony Holt – all shooting for the first time.
The Byley crew have been doing  lot of groundwork and the course is starting to look a picture – even this early in the year.
Byley will be holding a “UKAHFT” hunter shoot later in the year and this promises to be a real humdinger so watch this space for further developments.
