History

The Club Deportivo y Social Vida was born with the name of SALVAVIDA and was founded October 14, 1940 by the Gentlemen Gregorio Branches, José Lamelas and Valentín Vásquez. This name-SALVAVIDA-this composed one by the initial of the gentlemen Savior Vacaro and Vicente D' antoni, founders of the business now known as Cervezería Hondureña, S.A. The colors with the ones that the team is initiated they are Red, White and Blue. Nevertheless the generally alone fondness utilizes the first two. The Club SalvaVida initiates for the Mister Gregorio Branches, who by disagreements decides to be separated of the board of directors of the Club Deportivo Atlántida and to form its own team. At that time the team Salvavida was part of the League Dionisio of Blacksmith. A time later, I remain nothing but with the name of Sports Club Vida in honor of the Lady Life Code of Castañeda. But ahead in that same decade they were incorporated the famous Anklebone Arzú, Jesus "Chuna" White, Israel "Cat" Juárez, Alberto "Champion" Amaya, Héctor "Jet" Castle McKenzie, Quiro Brooks, Raúl Oviedo, Cristóbal Craka Brooks, and Rafael "The fafa" from Navarre.


Then in the years 60's they are integrated Savior Hernández, "Cacabancha" Maradiaga, Yo-yo Hendricks, Mario you Lick them, Spanish Alonso, Nilmo Edwards, Rogelio López, Oscar Trejo, Heriberto "Machete" Gutiérrez and Antonio Gennizotti, Arnulfo "The Pibe" Rodriguez, Carlos "Rulo" Peace, the brothers Morris and Junia Garden, Tony Marshall and Rubén Sandoval.


With this team, Vida becomes Champion of the League "AMATEUR" conquering al team Salamar of San Lorenzo in Tegucigalpa in 1962. In 1962, the Club Deportivo Vida changes its name to Club SOCIAL y Deportivo Vida, since one of its objectives was the common projection and by that reason founds the first Committee to Help Female.
