Foundation

August 29, 1928 by idea of Marco Antonio Ponce and supported by Marco Antonio Rosa in meeting celebrated at home of Mrs. Martha Vélez Widowed of Branches; located al side of the Bank of London and Montreal, who taking advantage of that the clubs America, Honduras, Athletic and Aguila had disintegrated they decided to call to all the players of these teams forming thus the joint one Motagua, in the same meeting the Board of directors headed by Marco Antonio Rose and the doctor Alejandro Lara followed by another group of personalities were elected, this board of directors supported the teams of Female Basketball, Baseball and Athletics.


First Game

Against the Tejeros del España of the Neighborhood Guanacaste November 25, 1928 in the soccer court the Island and the result was 1 x 1. The central referee of the encounter was Herasmo Velásquez and the captain of the Motagua was Constantine Gálvez "Tatino".
