Founded on november 5th 1969, CEGEP Montmorency is a francophone CEGEP pre-university and technical college located at 475 boulevard de l'Avenir, in Chomedey, Laval, Quebec, Canada. As of 2004, it had between 4000 and 5000 students. CÉGEP (Collège denseignement général et professionnel - College of General and Vocational Education, pronounced say-jep [fr/en] or see-jip [en]) is a type of educational institution in Quebec. ... It is somewhat known for its improvisation league, the MIM (Mouvement d'Improvisation de Montmorency - Montmorency Improvisation Movement), founded in the seventies, from which emerged a number of largely known (in Quebec) comedians and humorists such as Michel Courtemanche.
