- CID, Charge Injection Device (CIDTEC) Technologies is a silicon based solid state imaging sensor with electronic pixels to capture images, converting light into an electronic charge which is directly displayed on a monitor or captured digitally on computer. The CID is capable of randomly accessing individual pixels and can be read non-destructively to improve signal quality and adaptively set exposure.
