 The Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL) is an autonomous Institution, registered as a society. It is a national institute of higher education. CIEFL provides for the study of English and Foreign Languages and their literatures, organisation of research, training of teachers, production of teaching materials, and extension services, to help improve the standards of the teaching of English and Foreign Languages in India.
