1999, John Zandig and his four original trainees, Ric Blade, Lobo, Nick Gage and Justice Pain, started to run shows. Ruckus is the current CZW Heavyweight Champion, while Mondo was one of the most successful CZW Iron Man champions and winner of the Tournament Of Death II, the annual CZW deathmatch tournament that has been running since 2002. Another successful and important tournament for CZW is the annual Best of The Best, the Jr. Heavyweight tournament, although this year, it has been changed to an all weight tournament. The most important show that CZW runs would have to be the Cage Of Death, which happens at the end of the year. It's CZW's biggest show, and always features the Cage Of Death match, which is a cage match, usually with weapons and a scaffold on top of the cage. It's always an amazing spectacle, especially the 5th one, which happened in 2003.
