The band Cacophony

Cacophony - Sounding badly, antonym to harmony. From the greek word kakophonia - kakos (bad) + phoni (voice, sound)

The band Cacophony is a heavy metal band which contained the guitar team of Marty Friedman and Jason Becker. Cacophony only released two albums, but Becker and Friedman both later managed to achieve greater success and acknowledgement playing for separate bands. The band is often recognized for its technically challenging, neoclassical elements.

Their magnum opus Speed Metal Symphony has been heralded as one of the most awe_inspiring instrumental guitar albums of all time. The song that shares the name with the album is their undeniable masterpiece, and it is a perennial favorite in guitar circles everywhere.
