Caerau is a district of west Cardiff in south Wales. It is close to and often regarded as part of Ely, Cardiff. Caerau Lane is the main road which is very much lined with large trees and shrubbery. Dominated mostly by council housing, it has a leisure centre, supermarkets, schools, churches and a police station.
