The Caesars are a Swedish alternative rock band. In their native Sweden the band was originally known as Caesars Palace, and in the rest of Scandinavia they are known as Twelve Caesars. Elsewhere they go by the name Caesars. Outside of Sweden, they may be best known for the song Jerk It Out, which appears in an Apple iPod advertisement, as well as the video game SSX 3. The song is featured on both their 39 Minutes of Bliss (In An Otherwise Meaningless World) and Paper Tigers albums. They have won Swedish Grammy Awards for best album and best new artist. The terms alternative rock and alternative music were coined in the early 1980s to describe punk rock-inspired music genres which didnt fit into the mainstream genres of the time. ...
