Caldmore looked threatening on the break and were thwarted on a couple of occasions when they managed to get behind the Wyrley defence - once by a good save from Mark Biddulph diving to his right; and again by a timely interception from Anthony Crump who slid in to put the ball into touch.
Caldmore got their reward after 15 minutes when Mark Biddulph in the Wyrley goal elected to kick on the edge of his area.
Caldmore looked fast and strong going forward but were seldom able to beat the pace or the tackling of Matthew Worsey, Alex Hartshorn, Todd Wootton and Anthony Crump in the Wyrley defence.
