Caledon (2001 population 50,595) is a town in the Regional Municipality of Peel in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada.
In terms of land use, Caledon is somewhat urban, though it is primarily rural in nature.
Caledon is one of three members of Peel Region.

In the early hours of April 26, 1959, the Caledon East Legion Hall burned to the ground.
The Caledon East Community Memorial Hall was built in 1923 to commem­orate the men who served in World War 1.
In June 2004, the Town of Caledon decided to move the memorial from its current location to a place of greater prominence, in front to the newly renovated Town of Caledon Administration Centre.
