California State Highway 20 is mostly a rural route that travels 212 mi. (341 km) from CA-1 near Fort Bragg to US-101 at Willits, and then from US-101 near Redwood Valley to I-80 near Emigrant Gap. Daily traffic is between 2300 and 41,500 cars. The entire section between Fort Bragg and Willits, as well as sections between US-101 and CA-16 and between CA-49 and I-80, is designated a California State Scenic Route.
