Callimont is a borough located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 51.

Geography

Callimont is located at 39°47'52" North, 78°54'24" West (39.797829, -78.906569)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 11.6 km² (4.5 mi²). 11.6 km² (4.5 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 51 people, 19 households, and 14 families residing in the borough. The population density is 4.4/km² (11.4/mi²). There are 24 housing units at an average density of 2.1/km² (5.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 19 households out of which 26.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.9% are married couples living together, 21.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.1% are non-families. 21.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.68 and the average family size is 2.87.
