Character history
Along with his mother and two younger siblings Sonny and Sasha, they all arrived together to make a fresh start as Calvin was set to become a police officer. Calvin always wanted to do the right thing, which was to make his mother proud and always wanted younger brother Sonny to stay out of trouble as well. He told his mum that he was planning to move out not long after moving in to their new home as he planned to move in to a flat with his best friend, fellow police officer and mentor Eddie. Mother's hit-and-run murder His first day on the beat was a total travesty as he was the officer at the scene of a hit and run murder and was left devastated when he realised it was his own mother. More heartache followed for Calvin as his mother died from the accident, leaving Calvin to break the news to Sonny and Sasha. Despite emotions running high for Sonny and Sasha, Calvin did well in order to hold the family together through this tough period. However, Calvin’s patience was to be tested when his father Leo returned, whom Calvin never warmed to as he walked out on the family 13 years ago. Despite this, both Sonny and Sasha grew towards Leo, after the loss of their mother. Calvin, however, is reluctant to allow Leo back into their lives as he knows that his father isn’t dependable or committed. Calvin was present in The Dog when Sam Owen caused an explosion and fire, killing himself and four others. Calvin inadvertently started the fire, as he hit Sam in the head with a bar glass and caused him to drop the lighter. Ironically, Calvin was the one who saved Jake Dean's life, despite Jake being the one that killed Calvin's mother. He has taken on the role of patriarch of the family household and let Justin Burton, who had fallen on hard times, come and live with them. However, Justin was asked to move out to allow Louise Summers, Calvin's girlfriend, to move in (Justin had lied to the police to get Becca Dean, Louise's best friend, put in prison after he was dumped. Becca was then murdered by cellmate Fran.) Calvin is a rival with Warren Fox for the affections of Louise. He frequently clashed with his younger brother Sonny nicknamed the local dell boy. Sonny moved out after Calvin arrested him and his former girlfriend Michaela McQueen for shop lifting. It has been suggested that this article or section be merged with Hollyoaks. ...

Relationship with Louise Summers At the beginning of 2007, he had started dating Louise, who owned a salon nearby. They started an intimate relationship almost immediately and when they broke up, Louise slept with Warren. She tells Calvin she's pregnant, but Warren's nose is sniffing - he knows he could be the father so he tells Calvin this, and Calvin confronts Louise, who denies the allegation. Calvin felt that as he was to become the father of Louise's baby, it would be right to 'pop the question'. Despite Sasha's objections (as they had only been dating for 5 months), Calvin proposed and Louise accepted. Louise aborted the baby but told Calvin she miscarried, because Clare Cunningham convinced her it was the right thing. After Calvin found out about Louise sleeping with love rival Warren while they split up he decided to end the relationship. However he still has feelings for Louise as proved when Ste Hay knocked Louise unconscious, and set fire to Evissa with her inside, and she was left in intensive care. He fought with Warren and admitted he may still love Louise. He also showed his care for Louise when she was held hostage and at gunpoint by two thugs in the local pub The Dog. Mrs. ...
Hatred of Warren Fox Warren Fox is Calvin's worst enemy and love rival. Warren used to have feelings for Louise before she came to Hollyoaks. However she began dating Calvin intimately. When her and Calvin split up she slept with Warren, leaving him delighted to finally get the woman he loved. She then confessed she was pregnant and went back with Calvin. Warren was distraught but thought he still had a chance and insisted the baby was his. However Louise aborted the baby. Soon enough Calvin found out about Warren and Louise and they split up. This left love rival Warren with a chance and after Louise got him out of jail he began a relationship with her. Warren and Louise are now engaged but Calvin still considers Warren as his love rival and enemy. Calvin still has strong feelings for Louise and said he would never love anyone as much as her. Warren is wary of that so tries to keep them away from one another.
Who Pushed Clare? Calvin became one of five named suspects for the attempted murder of Clare Cunningham. He also became the initial prime suspect after his mobile phone was found at the scene of the crime. He was questioned, though released due to insufficient information so early in the investigation, largely because Clare claimed Warren Fox was responsible when she woke from her coma. Mrs. ...
