Camille de Hostun de la Baume, first Comte later Duc de Tallard was a famous French general.Marechal de France since 1703. He won a number of battles in his lifetime like Speyer (1703) but lost to John Churchill, the first Duke of Marlborough in the Battle of Blenheim. He was taken prisoner this battle. In 1726 he became minister of state and died in the year 1728.
