A parking area for Swift Camp Creek Trail, as well as Rough Trail, is located on the left side of Route 715 about 4 miles north of Highway 15.
The beginning of Swift Camp Creek Trail is fairly level and close to the road before it heads down to a small information shelter on the left side of the trail.
This "middle" section of Swift Camp Creek Trail is not very well maintained, as the majority of this trail's traffic is concentrated at the first stretch down to Swift Camp Creek itself, or on the opposite end near the Rock Bridge area.
