Campbell County is a county located in the state of South Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 1,782. Its county seat is Mound City6.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,998 km˛ (771 mi˛). 1,906 km˛ (736 mi˛) of it is land and 92 km˛ (36 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 4.61% water.
Townships The county is divided into two areas of unorganized territory: North Campbell and South Campbell.
