The Canadian Championships is an annual figure skating competition held by Skate Canada, the nation's figure skating governing body. Skaters compete at the senior and junior levels in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The top finishers are named to Canada's world team, which competes in international events. Figure skating is an ice skating sporting event where individuals, mixed couples, or groups perform spins, jumps, and other moves on the ice, often to music. ...
