In 1996, CTCA was investigated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) [1] for print ads it ran in the early 1990s. The investigation did not relate to patient care or to the effectiveness of any treatment. During the last 12 years, CTCA has met with the FTC periodically to review its compliance. Every time, the FTC has found CTCA to be in compliance. |
