Local Government Unit: MUNICIPALITY OF CANDIJAY (336 words)
The Municipality of Candijay is located in the Southeastern seaboard of the island of Bohol.
Candijay is accessed by an all-weather coastal road (since the 60’s) along the island that looks out on the Mindanao Sea.
On November 29, 1854, a decree establishing the new parish of Candijay was issued by Governor-General Manuel Crispo.
