In 2004 Canfor acquired the Canadian company Slocan Forest Products Ltd. Canfor has three pulp mills located in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Canfor is the owner of the world's largest sawmill in Huston, British Columba with a production of 600 Million Board Feet. Canfor also co-owns Howe Sound Pulp with Oji Paper in Port Mellon, BC near Gibsons and has another pulp mill in Taylor,British Columbia near Fort Saint John. Additionaly, Canfor's sawmills in British Columbia include Huston, Plateau (Fraser Lake), Isle Pierre (West of Prince George), Prince George (Prince George, Rustad, Polar and Clear Lake), Fort St. John, Chetwynd, Quensel Vaneby, Radim and Mackenzie. Sawmills outside of BC include the Grand Prairie and Saint Foy, Quebec. Oriented Stand Board and plywood plants and are located in Fort Nelson and Prince George.
