To address this disparity, six of the eight previously mixed electoraldistricts are redistributed as urban electoraldistricts for Saskatoon and Regina.
The remaining two electoraldistricts that were previously mixed are redistributed as rural electoraldistricts for populations in rural areas and small communities.
The population figure of each electoraldistrict is derived from the 2001 decennial census.
