Canoelands, New South Wales

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit.

Canoelands is a very small hamlet roughly 25kms from Glenorie and passing through Canoelands for about 35kms will take you to Wiseman's Ferry. The name itself does not spark any apparent reason- there are simply no streams or rivers to even have a canoe, although the area does boast a nursery wholesaler and a small cafeteria. Near the area is an abandoned and graffittied break stop on the Glenorie side. Canoelands gets very hot when compared to nearby towns owing to its higher elevation and very dry surrounding bushland.
