Capel Curig is a village in Conwy, Wales. It lies in the centre of Snowdonia, on the River Llugwy and the A5 road.


The village is a popular centre for walking, climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking and other outdoor pursuits. It is also home to a youth hostel, camp site, several cafes and hotels and gear shops, and Plas y Brenin - the UK national mountain centre.


Capel Curig lies between the towns of Blaenau Ffestiniog and Bethesda and the village of Llanberis.
