Encyclopedia > Capitol Punishment: The Megadeth Years

Hard rock / heavy metal band Megadeth's greatest hits album, released in 2000, through Capitol Records. The album featured the Dave Mustaine / David Ellefson / Jimmy DeGrasso / Al Pitrelli line-up on the new tracks "Kill The King", and "Dread and the Fugitive Mind". Some copies have a 'hidden track', with a remix of various Megadeth songs.

The album fulfilled Megadeth's contract requirements to Capitol Records, leaving them free to sign on to Sanctuary Records.
