Linda McQuillan was the sole survivor from an alternate Earth called Earth 238, and was forced into the role of Captain UK by Roma to replace the deceased Kaptain Briton, protector of Earth 839.


Reluctant at first, Linda settled into the role of a superhero and lead a rebellion against Saturnyne, deposing the tyrant and restoring peace.


Captain UK is often treated as Number Two to Captain Britain and is a member of the Captain Britain Corps.
