Carlo Rossi was born on 18 December, 1775, in Venice and in his childhood he was brought into Russia by mother - well-known ballerina, invited into Russia. From the youth he was connected with the world of arts. He built theater on the Arbat Square (it was destroyed by fire of 1812). He was rewarded with the Order of St. Vladimir of IV degree.
