Carlos de la Garza was the drummer for numerous Long Beach and Orange County bands including The Trenchtown Invaders, Suburban Rhythm, Meal Ticket, F.Y.P. Action League, and Reel Big Fish. He joined Suburban Rhythm in 1992 and was part of the band until their breakup. Carlos was playing with Action League, when Andrew Gonzales announced he was leaving the band, with the break-up of Action League, de la Garza replaced Gonzales as the drummer for Reel Big Fish.
