Season 1

Rodrigo is one of the many Latinos let into Em City which Unit Manager Tim McManus wants to possibly help become a better person. Currently, the Blacks and Italians control the drug trade and Rodrigo wants the Latinos more involved. Through Ryan O'Reilly, he gets two of the Latinos to try and kill Jefferson Keane, the leader of the Black Homeboys a move that backfires resulting in the death of two of his soldiers. Later Latino inmate Jose Torres is paroled and Miguel Alvarez then leads the Latinos. A riot then erupts where Rodrigo and the other Latinos take hostage Father Mukada and help the other prisoners take over Emerald City. As the inmates organize, Kareem Said designates the Latinos to watch over the hostages and as a result Miguel Alvarez abuses his power having the Latinos beat the hostage COs. The S.O.R.T. team then recaptures Emerald City and Rodrigo is one of the six inmates fired upon and killed.
