The Carnival Triumph’s Great Cities of the World theme makes every cruise feel like an around-the-world adventure. Begin the experience with dinner in the Paris Dining Room before seeing a Las Vegas-style show in the Rome Lounge and then dancing the night away at Club Rio. Or kick back in an extra-spacious stateroom or at the relaxing Spa Carnival.
Camp Carnival's activities for kids are as diverse as the adults' and run from early morning until late at night.
You have to appreciate the attempt of the CarnivalTriumph to take you on a trip around the world, even if you're really just on a four-day, one-port cruise like I was.
Carnival recommends $10 per person, per day, broken down to $5.50 to the headwaiter/waiter, $1 to the assistant waiter/cooks and $3.50 to the cabin steward; the amount is automatically added to your shipboard account but can be adjusted in either direction at the purser's desk.
