About Carrollton

Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart was founded in 1961. The history of the Society of the Sacred Heart dates back to the 1800s when the society was founded by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat in France. Carrollton has a nationally recognized debate team. In the Spring of 2007, the school hosted a national robotics competition.


Carrollton is currently expanding, with the Founders Library and Science-Technology Hall opened in January 2007. Plans are underway to begin building an Intermediate Science-Math Pavilion in the summer of 2007.
