Carver High School is a high school in Atlanta, Georgia and part of Atlanta Public Schools [1] Carver, includes many schools in one. Schools include Early College, Technology, Performing Arts, entrepreneurship, and Health Science and Research.[2]


Early College

Early College focuses on preparing students for college. It compresses four years of high school and four years of college into six years. Students reaching the 11th grade also enroll in Georgia State. Classes include World Geography, Civics, Geometry, Algebra I and II, American History, 9th and 10th grade literature, Speech, Biology, and more. Many students participate in extra curricular activities. Extracurricular activities include sports, ROTC, Honor Council, Student Government, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Math club, and Drama Club. Extended field trips include Outward Bound.


Technology

In the school of technology, students receive the regular curriculum plus a class on computers. Each student receives a laptop computer for school work.


Performing Arts

This school is for the person who wants to pursue a career in any of the arts including drawing, dance, singing, and drama.
