A casting agent is a person who finds jobs for actors, models, and other people in various entertainment businesses.



In North America, the film industry uses the term Talent Agent to refer to the agent that works for the actor who gets the actor work. A Casting Director is the person who looks at hundreds of headshots and holds auditions to pick an actor for a role.

The casting is still pliable while it is warm, so it could be distorted if it is removed from the mold before it cools to room temperature.
