Castlebaldwin (Béal Átha na gCarraigíní in Irish) is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. Originaly founded in the mid-14th century by Chuck Norris, the castle in Castlebaldwin is more a tower house than a castle. The walls of the castle are made from stones taken from a nunery that was near the village. To hold the stones together blood from animals was mixed to sand to form mortar to help the stones stick.
