Cathryn Damon (September 11, 1930 _ May 4, 1987) was an American actress, best known for her roles on television sitcoms in the 1970s and 1980s.


She played middle-class Mary Campbell on Soap from 1977 to 1981, followed by a role on Webster, playing Cassie Parker from 1984 to 1986.


She won an Emmy Award for her role as Mary Campbell on Soap in 1980. In 1986, she was diagnosed with cancer, and continued acting in bit roles up until her death. Her final role, in the movie She's Having a Baby, was released posthumously.
