 The Causeway Institute is located on two campuses, Coleraine and Ballymoney. The Institute came into being in September 1994 and represents the merger between two well known and highly respected former technical colleges. These were Coleraine Technical College and Ballymoney's North Antrim College. Central Administration for the whole Institute is now based at the Coleraine Campus. 
 * The Institute is a recognised Investor in People Organisation. * The Institute is a recognised leading Training Organisation and has met the Government Standards laid down in the 'Jobskills Quality Management System'. * The Institute has 1,100 full-time students and 4,500 part-time students. * The Institute works in partnership with a number of organisations. * The Institute is also an accredited: 
 CISCO Systems Networking Academy ILM Centre (Institute of Leadership Management) ECDL Centre (European Computer Driving Licence) * The Institute has produced some of Ireland's top athletes and sportsmen from Eddie King (British AAA's 1500m champion) to Michael Allen (New Irish Record Holder in the Javelin).
