Campus

Cedarbrae CI is one of the largest high school facilities in Toronto. It includes a gymnasium, weight room, dance studio, an auditorium with a balcony, swimming pool, film studio, automobile room, cafeteria with a serving room, and a library (Howard R. Campbell Resource Centre). Cedarbrae also has a 400m track behind the school and is one of the few schools in Toronto which still has a performance theater stage.

Immersion and Extended French

The immersion and extended French programs give enrolled students a chance to broaden their learning of French as a second language but must remain in their chosen program until graduation to maintain status. Immersion students require 11 French credits in order to receive their Honours Certificate of Bilingual Studies in French Immersion. Extended French students require 8 French credits to receive their Honours Certificate of Bilingual Studies in Extended French. French credits can be obtained by taking available courses in French such as: French, Geography, Gym, Art, History, Math (immersion), and Civics & Careers.

The Film & Stage Technology Pathway is a specialized program for students with a curriculum focus on the 'behind the scenes' technology of film and stage production. This pathway is designed to support Cedarbrae students in meeting diploma requirements and in helping them make successful transitions to post secondary destinations including university, college, apprenticeship programs, and the workplace. Some have criticized the increased emphasis on this program, as it is taking space and resources away from the Tech and Automotive Program, considered one of the best in Scarborough, even to the point of causing overcrowding in the one remaining double-credit automotive course, where there once were 2-3 double credit courses each year.
