Cedella Marley(born July 23, 1926) is the mother of the late reggae musician Bob Marley and a singer and writer. MARLEY was born Cedella Malcolm in Kingston, Jamaica to Omeriah Malcolm and Alberta Willoughby. Booker married Norval Sinclair Marley, a white Jamaican of English ancestry, when she was 18.
