Cemetary was a Swedishdeath metal band around frontman Mathias Lodmalm. Cemetary was formed in 1989 when a couple of young men in Sweden decided to express their anger and despair through music. A few years later they signed a contract with Black Mark Productions and started recording their debut album "An Evil Shade Of Grey" which was released in 1992. They released four more albums before the singer and songwriter Mathias Lodmalm felt that he wanted to do something new. Cemetary was therefore laid to rest in 1997 with their last album. They did however reunite in 2004 and the following year a new album called "Phantasma" surfaced. In late May 2005 Mathias Lodmalm posted a message at their website, announcing that he was leaving the scene for good because of dissatisfaction with the people he did business with. The cemetary is named for its large number of single men who are buried there although one of the most prominent ghosts is a woman known as the White Lady, the Madonna of Bachelor's Grove.
Investigators found no one in the cemetary, but two bars in the gate were bent apart and etched into the iron were two small handprints.
An old cemetary, now buried under tons of concrete construction, might be the source of the manifestations, and at least a few of those lost souls seem to have found a home in the tower of the San Francisco Art Institute.
Cemetary caches have taken me to several places where unusual graves are located or famous people may be buried.
I am truly astounded that so many cemetary owners are willing to grant permission for caches to be placed on their property.
The SC fiasco showed us that cemetary caches were used as a catalyst to propose new regulations on our sport, and historical locations were coattailed into the bans.
