Hazing

In August of 2002, two teammates from the Central Catholic football team grabbed a then 15 year-old sophomore and began to hold him down while rubbing their genitals in his face - an act known as tea-bagging. ^[9] When he told police about the hazing, the boy was harassed further and eventually transferred to another school. His two attackers eventually cut a deal in which they agreed to serve eight months of probation and perform 100 hours of community service. They were pulled out of the football season by recommendation of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. ^[10] Hazing is an often ritualistic test and a task, which may constitute harassment, abuse or humiliation with requirements to perform random, often meaningless tasks, sometimes as a way of initiation into a social group. ...
