Central Croydon is a small district in the London Borough of Croydon located between Croydon and Fairfield. The area is mostly known for holding many of the offices in Croydon and also being on the site of a redevelopment programme, named the Croydon Gateway which will hold a new 12,500 seat arena. The area does not include North End, the main shopping district of Croydon which holds both of the current shopping centres, Centrale and Whitgift although a new shopping centre, Park Place, is planned which will lead to Queen's Gardens in Central Croydon.
