In 1997 Central Mountain air placed an order for additional Raytheon Beech 1900D Airliner aircraft and began operating as an Air Canada Connector, replacing Air BC service on several routes within Alberta and British Columbia. Today Central Mountain Air still operates a handful of routes on behalf of Air Canada, although most of their routes are now operated under their own code 9M, and sold as Central Mountain Air flights.
