Paying With Cash

Centro allows riders to board buses with cash, coins, or transit cards.

The cash fare is $1.00, with free transfers to complete one way trips. Extension fares of $.25 must be paid for extra zones crossed.

Paying With Transit Cards

Centro has three types of transit cards. The 7 Day($10) and 30 Day($40) Unlimited Ride passes are good for any amount of rides taken in the allotted amount of days. The Debit Card can be purchased for $10 dollars and the correct fare is deducted upon each use.

Accomplishments

CENTRO won the American Public Transportation Association's 2006 "Outstanding Public Transportation System Achievement Award" for bus companies serving 4 million to 30 million riders a year.
