Central Statistical Office (Polish: Główny Urząd Statystyczny or GUS) is the main government executive agency of Poland charged with the collection and publication of statistics related to the economy, population and society of the Poland, at both national and local levels. The president of the GUS (currently Tadeusz Toczyński) is subordinate directly to the Premier of Poland and is considered equal to a minister of the government of Poland. The Office is divided onto several separate branches, each entitled with a different set of data. Among them are the Divisions of Co-ordination of Statistical Surveys, Analyses and Regional Statistics, Dissemination, National Accounts and Finance, Business Statistics and Registers, Social Statistics, Economic Statistics, Services Statistics, Agriculture and Environment Statistics, International Cooperation, Budgetary and Personnel, as well as the Administrative and Accounting Division.
